A smiling woman cuddles her cute beagle puppy while taking a selfie in a hammock

London is an exciting city, but sometimes, both Clarkie and I need a break from the hustle. Whether it’s a seaside stroll, a countryside retreat, or a quiet market town, a weekend escape is the perfect way to reset; without travelling too far.

If you’re looking for pet-friendly getaways near London, here are some of Clarkie’s (and my) favourite spots.

Artist Residence – A quirky pet-friendly hotel with stylish rooms.
Beachfront Airbnbs – Many allow dogs and offer great sea views.

🐾 Best things to do:

  • Visit Stanmer Park, a huge green space just outside the city.
  • Grab a coffee at The Flour Pot Bakery, which has a dog-friendly terrace.

Final Thoughts

One of the best things about living in London? You don’t have to travel far for a great getaway. Whether it’s the seaside, countryside, or a city break, there are so many pet-friendly places to explore; and Clarkie and I are on a mission to visit them all.
